How can I sum up my ?wee? brother John in just a few words. John was like a strong oak tree. Each branch different. Each branch portrayed a different side of John?s character. As his ?older? sister I knew him from his first breath as an infant. John was an extremely cleaver and loving little boy who grew up to be a brother I was so proud of. I loved John, but how could anyone not love John. He was unique.

I knew John as a work colleague and worked alongside him for more than 20 years. His sudden death has been a great shock. Through his career he worked with people with mental health difficulties, offering them great kindness, constancy and support. He held onto hope for those in desolation. John was always a very positive person. I will remember his enthusiasm and sense of humour. I will think of him particularly when I am up on hills and mountains. I know that he greatly loved the natural landscape in Britain and beyond. He is missed very much.

£20.00

Mr Oliver Pugh

John was always very supportive to me, he appeared to be a very kind and laid-back person who always enjoyed a joke. It was clear he was well liked at work and he is greatly missed. Though I am sure his influence will still be felt for time.
