Stephen Frost

The Gift of Hope Heart Fund has been set up in memory of my late husband Stephen Frost who died suddenly on 9 July 2006, aged 43 years. Steve will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a great friend to many. He is dearly missed by us all. This fund, in Steve's memory, has been set up to raise money for the British Heart Foundation to help them in their fight against heart disease (including research into Sudden Adult Death). Steve was a fantastic man who had a heart of gold and he wore it proudly on his sleeve. He will be remembered most for his kindness, generosity and friendship. He was like a ray of sunshine that lit up a room when he entered and he was always smiling and making people laugh. He loved caring and doing things for other people. It is quite ironic that a man with such a kind heart should die a sudden cardiac death. Although Steve's life was cut short, he lived life to the full. 'The brighter the candle burns, the less time it burns for.' I am so very proud, honoured and privileged to have been Steve's wife and he was a wonderful father to our beautiful daughters Stephanie and Samantha. Words can not express how much we miss him but all our treasured memories of Steve will stay with us forever. All who knew Steve are so lucky to have met such a unique and special person. The Gift of Hope Fund is a fantastic idea because it makes donating more personal and lets you see just how much has been donated in memory of a loved one. Please make an online donation if you can. Thank you

Simon Lyons

I recently celebrated my 50th Birthday with a party at the Rose & Crown pub in Enfield. Having a party without Steve at its centre seemed very strange but I was delighted Elaine, Paul and Dawn were there. On the invitations I asked for donations to the BHF rather than presents and we were delighted with the response. The generosity of my guests was fantastic, both from those who knew and loved Steve, and those who never had the privilege of knowing him. I would like to thank all my friends and family for helping Sally and me not just to celebrate my birthday but moreover the memory of Steve in such a positive way. Anyone with a special occasion coming up I would like to recommend they contact Chris at the BHF who offers excellent advice and support. Thanks to everyone. Simon Lyons
