“Sense of humour, kind and caring, ability to get on with everyone, fun loving, laughter - a really great person to know and love”

Thank you for visiting my Gift of Hope tribute fund. Angus was a support worker for autistic adults. He passed away suddenly on the 3rd March 2014 whilst at work aged just 48 years old leaving his wife Lorraine and two teenage sons Euan and Ross. Angus was apparently very fit and healthy - he played sport regularly and didn't smoke and drank alcohol rarely but he had a very high cholesterol level that he knew nothing about; he had never had it checked. His family want to raise awareness and funds for the BHF to try to prevent this devastation happening to anyone else.

This special fund will help raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care and by providing vital information. It would be amazing if we could raise lots of money to help them continue their essential work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.

Thank you again.

The Joe Crees Marathon 15th June 2014

Joe Crees was one of the players coached and managed by Angus whilst at Mount Pleasant Rangers. Joe is currently in Australia and has decided to run his first marathon in memory of Angus. He has created a sub fund to the main fund and any donations in support of this young man would be most appreciated. This is what Joe has to say about why he's doing this event - 'Angus was a great man, a true legend to a lot of people. He did so much for so many, including me. So I feel now its time for me to do something in return. I am going to be running my first marathon on the 15th June 2014. Hopefully this will just be the first of many fundraisers I will take part in, in name of Angus. Any donation at all would be massively appreciated. It is for a truely great cause.'
