Anthony Glyde

How would you describe them?

“A kind and gentle man, dedicated to his family with a heart of gold. He was always there to listen and give his advice. A true gentleman!”

What did they love most?

“He was a passionate family man. His main passion was music, a drummer from an early age until the end!”

What will you remember most about them?

“We loved, his patience, his kindness, his gentle way, his cheeky sense of humour, the way he made us feel when he was!”

Thank you for visiting my Gift of Hope tribute fund.

Anthony died on the 12th April 2011 at the age of 65. He had spent 4 days in hospital with a textbook of symptoms but unfortunately these were not spotted. He died of an aneurysm. Please help us raise awareness for this so that we could possibly help save lives in the future. Please donate what you can. This special fund will help raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care and by providing vital information. It would be amazing if we could raise lots of money to help them continue their essential work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.

Thank you again.

So sad to find this site on the internet. I last saw Tony in towards the end of the 70's and have great memories of playing music with him in the early 60's in and around Welling.
