Thank you for visiting my Gift of Hope tribute fund.

This special fund will help raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care and by providing vital information. It would be amazing if we could raise lots of money to help them continue their essential work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.

As a family we have decided to create this page in loving memory of the late Brian McGougan.

I do not need to tell you how special this man was in the lives of those who loved him, because since Brian passed away so many people have used the term "True Gent" to describe just who he really was. Brian was taken from us far too soon at the age of 29 in October 2011 and as a family our lives changed that day and they wil never be the same again.

In Brians memory we have decided to organise a sponsored climb up Ben Lomond for Saturday 16th June 2012 starting at 10am . We hope that as many people as possible will turn out for this memorial walk for Brian. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible to help prevent this tragedy happening to another family and also to promote how important research is to changing the future for ourselves. Every penny raised is truely making a difference to someones life. We thank you in advance for your domation. No donation is too small. Every penny is appreciated. We also ask that you share this page on Facebook, Twitter, Email, any way you can to help us fundraise in Brians Memory.

If you wish to join us on our climb, please contact Brians sister Leighann McGougan via facebook. Brian also has a page with links to other family members if you wish to get involved.

Thank you for your time and donations
