Gareth Barham

How would you describe them?

“Gareth received a heart transplant in 2004, giving us another 9 years with our loyal, hilarious and kind-hearted hero son and brother.”

What did they love most?

“Gareth loved, his family computer games, writing, singing and pottering in the kitchen. He raised a large amount for the BHF in his life.”

What will you remember most about them?

“His generous spirit, his dry sense of humour and one liners. He was fiercely loyal to friends and family, and the bravest man we knew.”

Thank you for visiting my Gift of Hope tribute fund.

A team of Gareth's friends and family including his brother and sister Pops (Hannah) and Harry are aiming to get this page to £10000 within the year by running The Great North Run (half Marathon) and the BUPA London 10k. Please take the time to sponsor us on this page, and if you aren't able to do so, please ensure you're signed up as an Organ Donor - Gareth receiving a heart transplant in 2004 gave us 9 more years with an amazing brother, son and friend and we are hugely grateful for such an incredible gift.

This special fund will help raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care and by providing vital information. It would be amazing if we could raise lots of money to help them continue their essential work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.

Thank you again.
