Jim Mewett

How would you describe them?

“Jim was a loving husband, father, grandad, father in-law, uncle and friend. He was the anchor of his family and lived a life full of pride, joy and happiness.”

What did they love most?

“He had a passion for gardening and absolutely loved collecting old steam trains. He'd spend hours in his shed making tracks for his trains or was always inventing or creating something new!”

What will you remember most about them?

“We will always remember how cheery and friendly he was. He was always the first one cracking out the jokes!”

As some of you are aware, Jim lost his battle against Cancer. Even during his battle, he was always more concerned about my Nan who is currently awaiting surgery for a heart by-pass. Grnadad would want us to continue to help Nan and support reaserch so she lives a long and healthy life since he cant be here to help. We have set up the fund page in loving memory of our Grandad Jim, but also in hope for our Nan. Grandad was her rock, her everything and he would want us to do what we can to help fund research that could help to potentially save her life.

So Thank you in advance for the donations.

Thank you for visiting my Gift of Hope fund.

The British Heart Foundation is leading the fight against heart disease and they rely upon their supporters to help them continue their vital and ground-breaking research. This special fund has been set up to raise money in support of their essential work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.

Thank you again.
