James Foulkes

Welcome to the Gift of Hope Heart Fund, set up in memory of Mr James Foulkes by some of his students at the European School, Luxembourg (without you, we would not be who we are!).
This fund will raise money for the British Heart Foundation's work to fight heart disease and support those it affects. We hope you can join us in fundraising for this cause - please make an online donation if you can.
Thank you.

They say that over the course of your life there will always be one teacher who you remember above all others - Mr Foulkes certainly fits the bill

Mr Adrian Diffey

Ms Tina Rhodes

Thanks for being so patient and generous when we used to invade your house and take over your living room as squealing, giggly teenagers - something I appreciate much more now that I am older. You will not be forgotten.

Miss Esther Everett

Thank you for all your wonderful efforts and many many enjoyable lessons.

Dr Patrick Manson

Miss Angela Bradshaw

Miss Alexandra Kamarowsky

Thank you for your patience and encouragement. You shall be remembered as a great teacher and loving father.

Mr Paul Diffey

Thank you for gracing us with your sense of humour and inspiring us through your kindness and patience. You made school not only bearable but also enjoyable. You taught us lessons we will never forget.

Mr Marko Lukovic

Mr Marc O'Dell

Thanks Mr.Foulkes for being a great teacher and a great help and inspiration- without doubt you were one of the handful of teachers I will always remember fondly and who gave me the confidence and motivation to get on in life- you will be missed.
