Jamie Cannon
Jamie passed away suddenly just before Christmas on Sunday 16th December 2018. Jamie was full of life and a dedicated family man; he had been with his wife Llian for thirteen years and his world revolved around their two young boys, Freddie and Stanley. He was very close to his parents, Denise and Frank and his siblings Matthew and Caroline. Jamie was a serving police officer with Bedfordshire Police and was a great friend to many. We are all devastated to have lost him so tragically. The cause of Jamie’s death was a intrapericardial haemorrhage and a ruptured dissecting aortic anuerysm, which is extremely rare for someone of Jamie's age and physical health. We have chosen to fundraise for the British Heart Foundation in Jamie’s memory because their research has revolutionised how heart diseases are treated. They are also currently conducting a three-year project to develop medicines to treat aneurysms at Kings College, London. Friends and family donated over £6000 at the time of his funeral and some are planning to fundraise more this year. You can support BHF in Jamie’s name by donating below or click “create an event page” to set up a page for your own fundraising which will link into this page automatically so we can see how much we’re collectively raising. Thank you, Llian and family x
