Sue Pittaway
Wife, Mum, Sister, Auntie, Nanny, Friend - Sue touched the lives of so many people. Everyone has their own memories of Sue, from laughing out loud in telling someone about her latest mishap, to the love, understanding and guidance she showed to those closest and dearest to her. Described by many as a 'Diamond', she showed unconditional love and friendship to those nearest and dearest to her. She always held strong on her beliefs and principals but always took the time to listen and provide that unswerving (and nearly always right) advice and guidance to friends and family. Right up until the end, she also kept that fantastic sense of humour, suggesting to Pete her husband, that he might want to consider getting a dog to keep him busy after she had gone, and also that she would allow him to dye his hair. Towards the end of what was a huge health battle over many years, Sue passed away, putting an end to her daily health struggles on a beautiful spring day on the 16th April 2019 - with her family by her side. She was at peace in the last few hours and drifted into a long sleep that morning. One of the last things she said to the family, was “I'm happy”. Our 'Diamond' has left this earth, but will always be looking down and shining on us all and forever in our hearts.
