Thank you for visiting my ‘Gift of Hope’ fund. Peter was an ‘Amateur’ Astronomer and Astronomical Writer who particularly enjoyed the Moon. He regularly observed, sketched and wrote about the Moon and other astronomical matters, his first book ‘Collision Earth’ being published in 1998. He has since written over 25 books and more than 3,000 articles. He was a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, the Assistant Director of the British Astronomical Association’s Lunar Section and a regular contributor of ‘Astronomy Now’ and ‘All about Space’ Magazines, to name a few. He was recently honoured to have a minor planet named after him (95935 Grego – Catalina Sky Survey) and just in case you were wondering about the photo, ‘Nos Ebrenn’ means ‘Night Sky’ in Cornish, a place he has called home since 2008. We have chosen to support the British Heart Foundation as not only Peter, but other members of family and friends have suffered loss in the same way. The BHF is leading the fight against heart disease and they rely upon donations to help continue their vital and ground-breaking research. This special fund has been set up to raise money in support of this essential work, so if you are a UK taxpayer you can add 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you by simply ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate. We would like to take this opportunity to ‘Thank You’ not only for your donation to BHF but for your cards, email and media messages, as well as your continued friendship. Please feel free to add your photos, memories and stories to the BHF page. With very best wishes, Tina and Jacy xx

'For Peter' by Tim Holden You were like a beacon in the oceans of the world One, among a billion stars of the sky unfurled The brightness of you may be gone But your star will shine forever on
